A recent survey asked Chicago-area physicians to rate local hospitals on how well they treated patients for both complex and lower-risk hospital care. The results raise serious questions about Resurrection Health Care's commitment to high-quality patient care.
- On average, only 18% of doctors surveyed gave Resurrection Health Care hospitals top marks.59
- The average percentage of doctors that rated Resurrection hospitals "very good" or "excellent" was less than half that gave top ratings to competing hospitals.60
- Physicians also rated Resurrection Health Care hospitals less "desirable" than competitors for complex adult medical care, uncomplicated deliveries and low-risk adult surgeries.61
